He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Godin and Virginie Godin (Cormier); and his siblings, Patrick, Izella, Alfred, Delima, Leandre, Yvonne, Gerard, Dora, Jeanne, Léa Comeau and Marguerite Savoie.

He is survived by: his children, Clifford Godin (Johanna) of Bathurst, William Godin (Judith Basque) of Landry Office and Claudia LeBlanc (Gerald) of Petit-Rocher; his grandchildren, Billy (Cheryl), Ricky (Jocelyn), Lori (Clifford) and Peter (Julia); and his great grandchildren, Mckenzie (Jon), Kassidy, Karter, Tristan (Jessica), Hailey and Paige.

Donations in memory of George may be made to the Foyer Notre-Dame-de-Lourdes or a charity of the donor's choice.
