He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald B. Mitton and Claire N. Mitton (Elliot); and his brother Donald J. Mitton. He is survived by: his wife Sherry P. Mitton (Jagoe) of Bathurst; his children, Douglas W. (Rachel) of Moncton and Trudy Ann Flowers (Malcolm) of Morden, MB; and his granddaughter Ava Caroline Mitton.
