He was predeceased by: his wife Linda Lavoie (McGilvery); his parents, Adrian Lavoie and Marie Anne Lavoie (Chiasson); and his daughter Cindy Lambro (Jason) of California. He is survived by: his daughter Lisa Lavoie of Bathurst; his grandson Lukas O'Connell of Bathurst; his great-grandparent Mark O'Connell of Moncton; and his siblings, Gerald Lavoie (Blondine) of Bathurst, Claudette Lavoie of Bathurst, Thérèse Lavoie of Bathurst and Claude Lavoie of Bathurst. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
