She was predeceased by: her husband Howard Hamilton of Big River; her parents, Henri Lambert and Julie Lambert (Doucet); and her siblings, Léonie Pelletier and Théophile.

She is survived by: her children, Harry Hamilton of Big River, Donald Hamlton (Denise) of Petit-Rocher, Gloria Chipman of Saint John, Bernice Hamilton of Quispamsis and Donna Boudreau (Pierre) of Madran; her brothers, Joseph Lambert (Majella) of Caraquet and André Lambert of Saint John, NB.; her grandchildren, Tonia, Angie, Eric and Tiffany; and her great grandchildren, Isaac, Kaiden, Lushin and Mikyla.

The funeral is open to the public with all COVID restrictions in place.

Donations in memory of Germaine may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor's choice.
