She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Gauthier and Lucie Gauthier (Daigle); and her children, Romeo Gauthier and Amanda Lee Lavigne (Kenny Rushton). She is survived by: her children, Susan Lavigne (Terry Lavigne) of Bathurst, Daniel Gauthier of Bathurst, Michel Gauthier (Kristal MacLean) of Pictou, Jean-Marc Gauthier and Matthew Lavigne (Alicia Staels) of New Lowell; and her siblings, Dorina Chambers (late Scott) of South Tetagouche, Doris Osborn of Calgary Alberta, Adrien Gauthier (Lillian Hachey) of South Tetagouche and Kenneth Gauthier (late Audrey Lavigne) of South Tetagouche. She is also survived by Many nieces, nephews, cousins and great friends.

Donations in memory of Gladys Gauthier can be made to Canadian Cancer Society, the Palliative Care Unit of the Chaleur Regional Hospital or a charity of the donor's choice.
