He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Bennett and Hilda Bennett; and his brothers, Ralph Payne and Daniel Bennett. He is survived by: his stepmother Jemima; his wife Lorraine Gilley; his son Wilson Gilley (Dawn Bilodeau) of Beresford; his grandson Dillon Gilley; his siblings, Bernard Bennett (Daisy) of Newfoundland, Curtis Bennett (late Mae) of Newfoundland and Irene Payne (late Foster) of Newfoundland; his in-laws, Larry (Mary), Ira (Wavey), Darrell (Cheryl), Sandra (Dennis) and Jacqueline; and also Jenny of Brampton, Ontario..
