He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mothers, Blanche Eva Lavigne (Martel) and Annie Edna Lavigne (O'Hearn); his children, Morris (Barbara Thring) of Rockwood, Norman (Jane Blanchard) of Toronto, Leo (Marion Scott) of Pokeshaw, Herman Jr. (Beverly Birgin) of Elora, Herbert (Eileen Henry) of Bathurst, Helen (Michel Boudreau) of St-Lauren, Margaret (Robert Noël) of Tracadie and Marjorie (Carl Gray) of Fergus; his brother Donald Lavigne of Bathurst; his son-in-law Normand Cormier of Bathurst; his children, Roger and Gladys; and his siblings, Leonard, Paul, Claude, Albert, Gabrielle, Marie-Blanche and Marcella. He was also cherished by great grand children, nieces and nephews.
