She is survived by : her husband Gérard Vienneau; her daughters, Marlene Vienneau (Bill Boyd) of Beresford and Charlene Vienneau (Anthony Duguay) of Big River; her grandchildren, Jessie Vienneau, Cory Lavigne and Jamie Lavigne; her siblings, Eldon (Louisa) of Bathurst, Marguerite Duguay of Bathurst and Patricia Hébert of Bathurst; and her caregiver Dr J. P. Arseneau.

Donations in memory of Irene may be made to the Kidney Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
