He was predeceased by: his parents, Georgette Duval and Wilfred Duval; and his sister Denise. He is survived by: his daughter Chantal Hawkings (Daryl); his granddaughter Cailey Hawkings; his stepson Jacob Knowles; and his siblings, Lucie Blanchette (Michel), Jean-Guy Duval and Bernard Duval.
