With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jean Babin of Bathurst, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on May 22, 2026. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jean Babin to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert and Lena Thomson (Kerr); and her husband Kenneth Babin of Bathurst. She is survived by: her children, David (Jody), Gary (Beverly), Tim (Lise), Peter (Claudette) and Linda (Michel); her grandchildren, Kaitlyn (Hubert), Andrea (JP), Samantha, Ashley (Simon), Keith (Amy), Kathleen, Scott (Celine) and Chloe (Adam); her great grandchildren, Zoey, Gabriella, Bennett, Oliver, Everett, Forest, Emma, Alex and Louis; her sister Eleanor Todd of Oakville; and her children, Kathleen and Scott. She is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, May 30th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel (187 St George St, Bathurst, NB E2A 1B6).
Donations in memory of Jean may be made to First United Church or to a charity of the donor's choice.
