He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Dugas and Olésine Dugas (Godin); and his brothers, Maurice, Denis and Yvon.

He is survived by: his sisters, Gilberte "Jill" Dugas of Bathurst and Gabrielle "Gaby" Dugas of Bathurst; and his friends, Bob White of Bathurst and Jean Guy Melanson of Bathurst. He is also survived by Several nieces and nephews.
