He was predeceased by: his parents, Jean Vienneau and Olga Vienneau (Aubie); and his siblings, Clifford, Albain, Raymond and Doris Power.

He is survived by: his wife Paula Jackson of Nicholas Denys; his children, Richard Vienneau (Cory Muir) and Ellen McDonald of Wilberforce, ON.; and his siblings, Claude Vienneau of Sioux Sainte, Gérard (Irene) of Beresford, Roger (Juliette) of Tetagouche, Blondine Godin (Léo) of Montréal, Anne-Marie (Yvon Comeau) of Montréal and Rose-Marie Pitre (Paul) of LaPlante. He is also survived by his 4 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
