She was predeceased by: her husband Edmund Blackett; her parents, Daniel Chiasson and Ella Chiasson (Vienneau); her close friend Donald Walker; her grandson Craig; her brother Roderick; and her stepfather Aurele Pitre.
She is survived by: her children, Carol Ann Koepke (late Joe) of Bathurst, Gary Blackett of Oshawa, ON., Brian Blackett (Mai) of Oshawa, ON. and Kurt Blackett of Minden, ON.; her grandchildren, Chris, Vanessa, Eric, Geoff, Brett, Stephanie, Joey and Curtis; and her siblings, Roger Chiasson, Adrienne Pitre and Jean-Claude Pitre.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 17th 2025 from 7:00 AM to 9:00 AM at the Elhatton's Funeral Home (187 St George St, Bathurst, NB E2A1B6). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, December 18th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel (187 St George St, Bathurst, NB E2A1B6).
Donations in memory of Jeannine may be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada or a charity of the donor's choice.
