He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph and Margaret; his parents-in-law, Clovis and Barbara Richard; and his nephew Stewart.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Lara (Paul) and Fraser (Joe); his grandchildren, Joseph, Lola and William; his siblings, Ellen Marie (Bob), Cheryl (Ian), Lou (Gail) and John (Shari); his extended family, Margot (Dawson), Barbara (Ken), Cynthia (Jean) and Marc (Karen); and his friends, Frank Daley, David Lobban, Shawn and Bobby Jardine. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 2nd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Elhatton's Funeral Home. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 3rd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Sacred Heart Cathedral (123 rue, St Andrew St, Bathurst, NB E2A1C1).
In lieu of flowers, should friends desire, contributions can be made in Joe's name to the Stewart Graham Memorial Scholarship Fund at Bishop's University either online or at the funeral home— a cause that was especially close to his heart following the tragic loss of his nephew at a young age.
