She was predeceased by: her husband Franklin Scott; her parents, Thomas Dempsey and Isalee Dempsey (Knowles); and her children, Paul, Kevin and Tanya.

She is survived by: her daughter Brenda Scott (Gordon Linder) of Fredericton; her grandchildren, Katie Moran (Shawn), Emmie Morrissey and Joshua Morrissey (Erin); her great grandchildren, Paisley, Alexa and Austin; and her siblings, Shirley Sealy (late Manford) of Bathurst, Carlson "Mike" Dempsey (Joanne) of Paradise, Pat Scott (late Byron) of Sussex, Wilma Dempsey (Fred Hudon) of Bathurst, Howard Dempsey (Elaine Lanteigne) of Stonehaven, Peter Dempsey (Elan) of Stonehaven, Rhonda Smith (Hadley) of Salmon Beach and Besides (Frank).

The family will receive relatives and friends for public visitations Sunday, May 2, from 6 to 8 p. m. at Elhatton Funeral Home (http://www.elhatton.com), Bathurst, with all covid restrictions in place.
