Léona will be remembered for the time spent with loved ones and the moments that brought joy to those around her. Though Léona is no longer present, the bonds she created and the experiences shared will endure. Léona’s memory will continue to be a source of comfort for all who knew her.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Augustin Arseneau and Elizabeth Arseneau (Ward); her spouse Charlie Dobson; and her brothers, Sylvio Arseneau and Romeo Arseneau.
She is survived by: her sisters, Marjorie Hachey (late Gerard) of Bathurst, NB., Anita Searle of Riverview, NB. and Florence Arseneau (late Gerald) of Bathurst. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, October 13th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Elhatton's Funeral Home Chapel (187 St George St, Bathurst, NB E2A 1B6).
Donations in memory of Léona may be made to the Alzheimer's Association of Canada or a charity of the donor's choice.
