She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas Sturgeon and Katherine Sturgeon of Doaktown, NB.; her husband Donald O. Godin; her brother William Sturgeon (Joyce); and her son-in-law Wells Chapman.
She is survived by: her children, Catherine Chapman (late Wells) of Janeville, NB, Susan Prestidge of Burlington, ON, Colette Godin of Bathurst, Peter Godin (Carol) of Halifax and Paula Chiasson (Judd) of Bathurst; and her grandchildren, Jennie, Jayme, Jessica, Adam, Andrew, Jacob, Kelsi, Jason, Justin and Ashley. She is also survived by 8 great-grandchildren.
