He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Ronalds and Alice Ronalds (Moore); and his siblings, John, Leeman and Lyla (Trites).

He is survived by: his wife Lillian; and his children, Andre (Barb), Joyce (Todd), Janet (Paddy), Linda (Alistair) and Michael (Lori).
