She was predeceased by: her parents, Wilfred Blanchard and Laura Blanchard (Boucher); and her siblings, Edward "Ned" Blanchard, Kenneth "Kenny" Blanchard, Margaret "Peggy" Doucet Melanson and Veronica "Vonnie" Hachey.
She is survived by: her husband Andrew Brideau; her children, Caroline Travis (Merle) of Enfield, NS, Cindy Whynacht (Kris) of Tantallon, NS. and Kevin Brideau (Genvieve) of Miramichi, NB.; her grandchildren, Laura, Julia Travis, Haley and Gavin Whynacht; and her siblings, John "Jack" (Jenny) of Waterloo, ON, Raymond (Gloria) of Bathurst and Pauline "Polly" Forsey (Walt).
Donations in memory of Phyllis may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
