He was predeceased by: his parents, Wilfred Aubie and Saraphine "Sarah" Aubie (Landry); and his son Douglas. He is survived by: his wife Kathleen Aubie (Godfrey); his children, Kathy Aubie of Vancouver, Michelle Aubie of Vancouver and Lee-Ann Aubie-Nelson (Dave) of Grande Prairie, AB.; his granddaughters, Sarah (Robert) and Miranda; his great grandchild Theo; and his brother Ross Aubé (Pauline) of Bathurst.

Donations in memory of Randy may be made to the SPCA, the Legion or a charity of the donor's choice.
