It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Raoul Guignard of Bathurst, New Brunswick, who passed away on March 5, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Raoul Guignard to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his wife Melva Frenette of Brideau Avenue; his parents, Henri Guignard and Ida Guignard (Vienneau); and his siblings, Stella, Évangéline, Gérard (Anna), Laurent and Patrice.
He is survived by: his children, Bernard (Sue Moffatt) of Guelph, ON, Jacinthe (Philippe Hachey) of Tremblay, Jean-Antoine (Susan Aubé) of Bathurst and Serge (Michèle Benoit) of Fredericton; his granddaughters, Isabelle Melva and Marie-Olivia; his sister-in-law Dr. Ina Frenette; his friend Serge; and his siblings, Yvon (Joan) of Dunlop, Jean-Claude (Francine Boudreau) of Beresford and Imelda Guignard. He is also survived by his in-laws, the Frenette family, many nieces, nephews and cousins.
The visitation is open to the public with social distancing measures in place.
A funeral mass will be celebrated from Sacred Heart Cathedral by invitation only.Donations in memory of Raoul may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or a charity of the donor's choice.
