He was predeceased by: his parent Edward "Eddy". He is survived by: his parent Imelda Pitre (Daigle); his former wife Marie Pitre (Lecouter); his children, René Pitre (Sara) of Miramichi, Stéphane Pitre (Julie Anne Bass) of Petit Rocher and Julie Gauvin (Mathieu) of Petit Rocher; and his grandchildren, Émilie, Jérémie, Joshua, Marie-Andrée, Catherine and Alexandre.

Donations in memory of Raymond may be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a favorite charity.
