He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Aubie and Irene Aubie (Stever); and his siblings, Ronnie, David, Shirley, Jeanie, Sharon and Annie.

He is survived by: his wife Edna Aubie (Doucet) of Bathurst; his children, Karen Guitard (Sylvain) of Bathurst and Daren Aubie (Lianna) of Edmonton, Alberta; his grandchildren, Tonya Wadden (Dave) of Moncton and Sam (Danica) of Edmonton, Alberta; his great grandchildren, Gibson of Moncton and Olson Wadden of Moncton; and his brothers, Ray Aubie (Geri) of Bathurst and Gary Aubie (Claudia) of Bathurst.
