He was predeceased by: his parents, Hector Picot and Adeline Picot (Doucet); and his siblings, Alfred of Vernon, Marjorie Marie and Rose Marie.

He is survived by: his wife Simone Picot (Hachey); his children, Shirley Noel (Pierre) of Dartmouth, NS, Maureen Picot (Tim Aube) of Bathurst, Michelle Valley (Jay) of Bathurst, Louis Picot of Moncton and Denise Savoie of Beresford; and his siblings, Raymond (Barbara) of Berwick, NS, Leonard, Paul (Jackie) of Bathurst, Rita Duval of Bathurst, Isabelle Fitzpatrick (Ron Jessulat) of Bathurst and Georgina Laporte (Emery) of Brossard, QC.. He is also survived by 13 grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren.
