He was predeceased by : his parents, Felice Candido and Lucia De Candido (Sbrizzi); his son Brian De Candido; the mother of his children Claudette Doucet; and his siblings, Antonia Zambon and Giacometti DeCandido.

He is survived by : his daughters, Barbara De Candido of Bathurst, Lucy Shorey (Winston) of Iqaluit, NU and Brenda De Candido of Gatineau, QC.; and his siblings, Maria Venturin (late Fiore), Pierina De Candido (late Roberto), Giusepina Pianta (Orfeo) and Ugo De Candido (Lena).

Donations in memory of Sergio may be made to the Chaleur Regional Hospital Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
