She was predeceased by: her parents, Gordon Knowles and Lorine Knowles (DeVarenne); and her brother Carl Knowles. She is survived by: her children, Colleen Deblois (Ramy Abdelwahed) of Bowmanville, ON and Clifton Bigney (Sara Shaban) of Riverview; her grandchildren, Morgan, Jordan, Nick, Tawfek and Tahmara; and her siblings, Kay Addison (late Don) of Bathurst, Gail Louden (late Ron) of Bathurst, Betty McLean (Bill) of Bathurst and Ralph Knowles of Turkey Town.

A funeral service was held on Friday, September 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Anglican Cemetery.

Donations in Shelley's memory may be made to the local SPCA, an organization dear to her heart.
