He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Sr. Blanchard and Victoria Blanchard; and his siblings, Priscilla Frenette (late Lionel) of Beresford, Harvey, Kenneth, Wilfred, John, Arnold, Ernest, Lionel, Marguerite Cameron and Lorraine Arseneau.

He is survived by: the mother of his children Marie-Mai Blanchard; his children, Lisa Duguay (Roland) of Beresford, France Blanchard (Robert Chiasson) of Allardville and Terry Blanchard (Jenna Martin) of Bathurst; his grandchildren, Mathieu, Patrick and Bianca; his great grandchildren, Maëva and Laila; and his siblings, Claudette Loupelle (Wayne) of Chestermere, Alberta and Gerald Blanchard (Yvonne) of Bathurst. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
