She was predeceased by: her parents, Ambrose Nicholson and Janie Nicholson (Buggie); her former husband Bobby Veniot; her spouse Rosario Turcotte; her children, Rosalie and Patrick; and her stepchildren, Gail and Robert.

She is survived by: her children, Paul Venoit of New York City and Patricia Duguay (Rodney) of Beresford; her stepchildren, Charlene, Mona Lee, Carolyn, Devota Ann, Brenda Lee and Brent; her grandchildren, Christopher, Patrick, Amanda and Sarah-Rose; and her sister Louise of Dartmouth, NS.

Donations in memory of Theresa may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
