She was predeceased by : her parents, Hector Garceau and Marguerite Garceau (Samson); her husband David Butler; and her siblings, Jacques, Fernand, Lucrèce, Marie, Estelle, Fleurette and Claire.

She is survived by : her brother André; her children, Nancy (Eric) and John (Lisa); her grandchildren, Jennifer (Simon) and Jordan; and her great grandchild Elorie.
