He was predeceased by: his wife Marvel; his parents, Joseph and Loretta (Kilfoil); his siblings, Margaret, Molly (Pickard), Patrick, Arnold and Edmond; his nieces, Clara, Sharon, Monique and Natalie; and his nephew Robert.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin (Kristine) of Calgary, AB, Paul (Michelle) of Antigonish, NS, Krista Dickie (Mike) of Quispamsis, NB and Lisa (Mark) of Antigonish, NS; his brothers, Brendan (Dorine) and Tony (Georgina); his sisters-in-law, Bernie Drover and Phyllis DeGrace; and his grandchildren, Samuel, Matthew, Jacob, Ryan, Shaelin, Haley, Raia, Katherine, Adam and Luke. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and friends.
Visitation will be held on Wednesday, October 14th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Elhatton's Funeral Home (187 St George St, Bathurst, NB E2A 1B6). A funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 10:00 AM at the Holy Family Parish (430 St Peter Ave, Bathurst, NB E2A2Y2).
