He was predeceased by: his parents, William Harold Broom and Edith McLean (Gillis); and his stepfather Harry MacLean. He is also survived by several cousins, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, March 5th 2026 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at the Elhatton Funeral Home (187 St George St, Bathurst, NB E2A1B6). A funeral service was held on Friday, March 6th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the First United Church (309 St Patrick St, Bathurst, NB E2A1E2).
