He was predeceased by: his parents, George Ramsay and Annie Ramsay (Good); his wife Vesta Ramsay (Knowles); and his siblings, Jennie Helie, Georgina "Kay" Lamey, Ada McLean, Betty Holmes, Harold and Blair.
He is survived by: his children, Mark Dempsey (Joan) of Bathurst and Heather Sellers of Kitchener, ON; his grandchildren, Billy Dempsey of Bathurst and Cindy Dempsey of Fredericton; his sisters, Edwina Laturnus (Frank) of North Gower, ON, Shelva Cripps of Bathurst and Gloriann Hachey (Lionel) of Bathurst; his close friend Anita Doucet; and also Many.
Donations in memory of Billy may be made to the Bathurst SPCA or a charity of the donor's choice.
