He was predeceased by: his spouse Dorina Doiron; and his parents, Franklin Poirier and Malvina Dugas. He is survived by: his daughters, Yolande (Tommy) of Bathurst, Nicole of Bathurst and Jeannette (Tim) of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Melissa, Samantha, Brandon, Melanie, Nixon and Isla; and his close friend Elna Scott. He is also survived by her children, grandkids and great grandkids.
