Michael touched many lives and will be remembered fondly for the moments shared and the memories created. Family, friends, and colleagues extend their love and support during this time. While Michael’s presence will be missed, the influence he had on others will remain. Those who knew him will carry forward memories that reflect his character and spirit.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edgar Jamieson and Pauline McCurdy; his wife Denise Durelle; and his brother William. He is survived by: his significant other Jocelyn Clarke; his daughter Natacha; his grandchildren, Amelia, Hannah and Charlie; his siblings, Debbie (late Scott Northrup) and David (Pat Jamieson); Jeff (Mitchell) and Greg (Kate). He is also survived by several uncles, aunts, brothers-in-law, sisters-in-law, nephews, nieces, great nephews and nieces, and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, September 27th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Marysville Heritage Centre (11 McGloin St, Fredericton, NB E3A4J9).
