He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Leata, Basil Turner, Irene and George Trenholm; and his mother-in-law Margaret Smith.

He is survived by: his parents, Jimmy Trenholm (Pam) and Wendy Holland (Reg); his wife Tracy Smith of Bayfield; his stepchildren, Ryan Smith of Halifax, NS and Courtney Miller; his granddaughter Olivia; his siblings, Janice Trenholm of Grande-Digue, NB and Ernie Trenholm of Port Elgin, NB; his stepsiblings, Kate Hurley of Halifax, NS and Tyrrell Hurley; and his father-in-law Douglas Smith. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
