It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Margaret E. Briggs (Bayfield, New Brunswick), born in Penobsquis, New Brunswick, who passed away on March 7, 2020, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Morton and Marion Morton (McLeod); her husband Robert Briggs; her siblings, Marjorie Robinson, Ann Smith, Marilla Doney and Jack; and her son-in-law William Creelman.

She is survived by: her children, Bernard Briggs (Barbara) of Bayfield and Gail Creelman of Halifax. She is also survived by 5 grandchildren, 9 great-grandchildren.

Margaret lived a very full life and will certainly be missed by all of you, her friends and everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. We will keep you in our thoughts and prayers. So sorry that we just discovered this week that margaret passed away. We will donate to our alumnae scholarship in her memory.”
