With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Phyllis Beatrice Mooers (Bear Island, New Brunswick), born in Bristol, New Brunswick, who passed away on June 28, 2019 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Irvine Hagerman and Mabel Hagerman (Pond); her husband Merlin Mooers; her sister Shirley Dore; and her brothers-in-law, Floyd Saunders and Waldon Mooers.
She is survived by: her children, Stephen Mooers (Sherrie), Cheryl Foisy (Ron), Stanley Mattatall (Marlene) and Charles Mattatall (Sheila); her grandchildren, William Mooers, Chanchez Mooers (Sterling), André DesRosiers, Daniel DesRosiers, Chantale DesRosiers, Michael Mattatall, Timothy Mattatall (Rebecca) and Christopher Mattatall (Nicole); her great grandchildren, Trina, Ashley, Tyson, Jorjah, Dominick, Alex (Savannah), Aadon and Ava Lee; her sister Ethel Saunders of Woodstock, NB; her brother-in-law Karl Dore Jr.; her aunt Reta Cummings of Nauwigewauk, NB; and her grandsons, Mike Mattatall, Tim Mattatall and Chris Mattatall. She is also survived by several nieces, nephews and cousins.
