With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Velma Louise Murch of Bear Island, New Brunswick, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 28, 2025 at the age of 99. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Velma Louise Murch to pay them a last tribute.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Rankine Currie and Emily Currie (Owen); her husband Frank R. Murch; her brother Wiley Currie (late Phyllis); and her brother-in-law George Hicks.
She is survived by: her children, Janice Brown (Ed) and Jeffrey Murch (Susan); her grandchildren, Wesley, Ben (Darin), Alister (Heidi), Dawn (Dustin), James (Aly), Melissa, Adam (Jenn) and Jody (Lawerence); her sister-in-law Esther Hicks; and her goddaughter Kim Somerville. She is also survived by several great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Flewelling Funeral Home (585 Otis Dr, Nackawic, NB E6G1H6). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
