She was predeceased by: her husband Lorne Briggs; her grandsons, Troy Aubrey Briggs and Jonathan Daniel Briggs; her brothers, Laurie, Eldon (Ty), Stewart and Royce; and her parents, Elwood McElman and Generva McElman.
She is survived by: her children, Francis (Terry) of Lethbridge, AB, Aubrey (late Carol), Danny (Carol) of Delta, BC, Lorna (Lloyd Chase) of Ardrossan, AB, Alden (Dawna) of New Maryland, NB and Darlene Purdy of Kelowna, BC.; and her siblings, Willa (late Fred Briggs) of Kentville, NS and John (Ruth) of Fredericton, NB. She is also survived by grandchildren and great grandchildren, nieces and, nephews.
Donations to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada would be greatly appreciated by the family.
