Walter left this world on October 25, 2025 at the age of 82, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. He was predeceased by: his mother Catherine Hooper; his wife Roxanna Hooper (Berryman); his daughter Pamela Ruby Hooper; and his siblings, Gordon Hooper, Joseph Hooper and Mary Simms.
He is survived by: his children, Bridgette McCrea (Daryl) and Peter Wesley Hooper (Tina); his grandchildren, Joshua Wesley (Emily), Jarret Lewis, Jessica Anne (Anderson) and Cecilia Mary Ann Catherine; and his great grandchildren, Atticus and Harrison. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, and many dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Castle Fallsview Funeral Home (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3). A memorial service will be held on Thursday, November 6th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 2:45 PM at the Castle "fallsview" Chapel (309 Lancaster Ave, Saint John, NB E2M2L3).
In lieu of flowers donations in Walter's memory can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or a charity of the donor's choice.
