He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur Richard and Elizabeth Richard; and his son J. R.. He is survived by: his wife Sharon; his children, Greg, Scott and Brandy; his grandchildren, Mia, Riley, Mykyla, Emma, Marley, Timmy, Ethan, Isabella, Carson and Jackson; his great grandchild Ivy; and his siblings, Dorothy and Albert.

He has the strength to make it look easy as his body was fading away in front of us with no complaints, because of his disease in lieu of flowers the family would prefer donations to go to the cancer society.
