Viola May left this world on May 29, 2025 at the age of 87, leaving a void in the lives of so many people. She was predeceased by: her parents, Elvina Welsh and John Welsh; her husband Chesley Moody; her siblings, Francis, Jean, Elva, Daniel and Norman; and her son-in-law Raymond Landry.
She is survived by: her sister Sarah; her children, Larry (Linda) of Blacklands, Allen (Kimberly) of Dalhousie, Adam (Karen) of Charlo, Karen Landry of Campbellton and Carolyn Olsen (David) of Dalhousie Jct; her grandchildren, James, Greg, Mitchell and Natasha; and her great grandchildren, Cadence, Aryanna, Draven, Brenya, Shania, Skyler and Annabelle.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, June 4th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the MacMillan & Drapeau Chapel (24174 NB-134, Benjamin River, NB E8G1P6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, June 5th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to New Mills Cemetery grounds maintenance.
