With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Sylvia Grace Blackie (Benton, New Brunswick), who passed away on May 2, 2020 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her husband Earle; her grandson Troy Grant; her sisters, Marion Veysey (Gerald) and Joyce Miller (Jim); her brother-in-law Cam Fletcher; her brother Joe McKinney; and her son-in-law Ronnie Grant.

She is survived by: her daughters, Janice Anderson (Reg), Faye Grant and Alta DeMerchant (Michael); her grandchildren, Barry Anderson (Julie), Craig Anderson (Bridget), Todd Grant (Trish), Tony Grant (Stephanie), Suzanne Grant, Sheila Bartlett (Barry), Joseph DeMerchant and Beckey DeMerchant (Jerry Johnston); and her sisters, Phyllis Fletcher and Josephine Corey (Herby).

As expressions of sympathy, donations to Debec United Church or to charity of donor's choice would be appreciated by the family.
