He was predeceased by : his parents, Ernest Pitre and Eva Pitre; and his siblings, Gladys, Alvin, Daniel, Carmella and Hilda.
He is survived by : his wife Murielle Pitre (Lavigne); his son Réjean Pitre (Melanie) of Fredericton; his grandchildren, Jessica (Eric) of Moncton, Vero (Brandon) of Fredericton and Vanessa (Tyler) of California; his great grandchildren, Abigail, Jack, Grace, Harrison, Olivier and Alexis; his family, Reginald "Bobby" Pitre (Gilberte) of Beresford, Léo Pitre (Annette) of Bathurst, Ginette Pitre (Arnold) of Bathurst, Nicole Pitre of Pointe-Verte and Murielle Pitre (Charles) of Robertville; and his siblings-in-law, Albina Pitre of Bertrand and Hermel Vienneau of Petit-Rocher.
