She was predeceased by: her husband Maurice; and her siblings, Julia, Rita, Yvonne, Emilia, Amanda, Claudette and Emerild.
She is survived by: her sisters, Therese Guitard (late Everette) and Murielle Frenette (Albin); her son Mario Paradis (Tracy); her granddaughter Allyson Paradis (Marcell Paganini); and her great grandchildren, Théodore and Béatrice Boucher. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Donations in memory of Lauza, can be made to the Alzheimer's Society of Canada in Lauza's name.
