He was predeceased by: his parents, Neal Austin and Hilda Hazel Douthwright (Harrison). He is survived by: his wife Sandra Annabelle Douthwright (Mann); and his children, Louise of Ontario, Murray, Susan of Edmonton, AB, Peggy (Mark) of Moncton, NB and Barry (Jennifer) of Calgary, AB.. He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 13 great-grandchildren, one great-great-grandchild, and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, September 8th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Fair Haven Funeral Home & Cemetery (1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB E1E3V9). A funeral service was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, September 11th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 3:15 PM at the Fair Haven Cemetery (1177 Salisbury Rd, Moncton, NB E1E3V9).
