She was predeceased by: her parents, Leo Black and Harmony Black (Jagoe); her former husband Paul Gauthier; and her sisters, Marjorie and Mazie.
She is survived by: her husband Michael Chevalier of Big River; and her sister Charlotte Pitre (Bernard). She is also survived by Several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, December 3rd 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Elhatton's Funeral Home (187 St George St, Bathurst, NB E2A1B6). A funeral service was held on Thursday, December 4th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. George's Anglican Church (432 King Ave, Bathurst, NB E2A1P5).
