It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gary Garrett of Big River, New Brunswick, born in Bathurst, New Brunswick, who passed away on January 24, 2023, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Vincent Garrett and Mary Garrett (Watson); his siblings, Kenneth and Elizabeth "Betty" Duguay; and his stepgranddaughter Rebecca Lemieux-Christie.

He is survived by: his close friend Jacqueline Lemieux of Bathurst; his sons, Christopher Garrett (Kathy) of Sussex, NB, Jason Garrett (Cindy) of Ontario and Johnathan Garrett of Bathurst; his stepchildren, Natacha Thomas (Denis) of Bathurst, Bonita Savoie (Roger) of Bathurst and Joanie Lemieux (Sonia) of Bathurst; and his sisters, Ethel Morin (Paul) of Edmundston, Joan Boucher (Harvey) of Bathurst, Elvira Roy (Jean Guy) of Bathurst and Shirley Haché (Alyre) of Bathurst. He is also survived by Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren.
