He was predeceased by: his parents, Jakob Hirn and Katharina Hirn (Spitznagel); and his grandsons, Liam and Ryan. He is survived by: his wife Margaret Hirn (Kunsch); and his daughters, Kathy Hirn of Kitchener, ON, Elizabeth Hirn-Crane (Jamie) of Kitchener, ON and Christine Hirn (Stephen Stoyko) of Big River.
