It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David John Smyth (Black Point, New Brunswick), born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, who passed away on July 22, 2023, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, George Smyth and Nora Smyth (Kyte); and his brothers, Francis Paul and Francis Coady. He is survived by : his wife Sharon Smyth (Cook); his son Stephen (Ha) of Ottawa; his grandchildren, Christopher and Amanda of Toronto; his brother Victor (Moira) of Vancouver; his sister-in-law Nancy (Mike); his nephew Brendan; his niece Hanna; his siblings-in-law, Gary (Jan) and Marilyn; and his cousin MacCormack. He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
